How about changes, trends, and other data on the global economy?

What are some positive and negative aspects of globalization and what factors fuel it?

What are current characteristics of the U.S. workforce and what characteristics are expected to change the most?

 What are some of the major patterns and trends of compensation of U.S. workers. during the past 40-50 years?

What is the current and future mix of jobs in the U. S. Economy?

What are the current and projected future education/training requirements of jobs in the United States economy?

 

What are some of the public’s and policymakers’ perceptions of the link between education/training and employment?

For “good” jobs, how important are the following to employers in hiring: credentials/degrees, experience, “soft” skills, attitudes, etc., occupational/ technical skills/competencies, etc.? 

What has been the pattern of productivity of U.S. workers over time and how does this compare with their major international competitors and what factors have
 contributed to gains?

What is the current and projected future standard of living of U.S. citizens and contributing factors? (SES, family makeup, education, work history, wage earning potential, haves and have not’s, income gaps, etc.)?  How about Florida or another state?
